Solar Energy Solutions: About Us and Our Journey

Over the years, we worked on residential, commercial and industrial projects, including electrical work for well-known rugby players such as Handré Pollard 

Our journey into solar started when the industry was still in its early stages in South Africa. One of our first solar installations was for Adolf Malan, the well-known Blue Bulls player, using gel batteries for energy storage.

As technology developed, we continued to be involved with some of the early hybrid and battery-storage installations. We installed an IMEON 3.6 hybrid inverter, the 9.12kW three-phase hybrid inverter for the CEO of Builders Warehouse in Sandton, early Lemoen battery systems and one of the early 12kW LuxPower hybrid inverter installations.

Our experience eventually moved into larger energy-storage systems, including an early 100kW hybrid system in Vaaldraai, Mpumalanga, integrated with a 324kWh lithium battery bank.

These projects helped shape who we are today. We didn't just watch the solar industry develop — we were installing, testing and learning as the technology evolved.

As our experience and projects grew, BeVonk Electrical evolved into BeVonkTe Projects.

Today, BeVonkTe Projects combines our electrical foundation with solar PV systems, hybrid inverters, battery energy storage, backup power and commercial and industrial energy solutions.

And now, we are taking another step forward with our new sister company, Solar Doctor.

Solar Doctor is focused on the future of energy — helping customers with solar systems, battery storage, hybrid inverters and smarter energy solutions.

From our first solar installation with gel batteries in 2007, through the early hybrid inverter and lithium battery installations, to today's large commercial and industrial energy projects, our experience has grown with the industry.
